A group of Los Cab members were among a dozen teams competing at the SCTA Women Doubles Tri-Level 18 & Over Sectionals November 3-4 at Newport Beach Tennis Club. Those competing included, from left, Julie Le, Christine Nguyen, Francesca Ligman, April Tran, Cindy Chau, Ysa Le, Hatien Nguyen, Stephanie Chung, and Diem Uyen Nguyen.
“For a lot of our players, this was the first time they went to a sectional championship,” Game On! team captain Ysa Le said. “Even though we didn’t make it to the semifinals, we learned a lot. And, we received a lot of compliments on our Los Cab tank tops!”
