With so many swimming and aquatics classes available at Los Cab over the summer, there are plenty of opportunities for members to hit the pool – and dive right in. For starters, Masters Swim classes are held every Tuesday and Thursday at 7 a.m., and Coach Diego says they are ideal for members who have a grasp of the basics but want to improve their technique, form and endurance.
“Even if you haven’t swam in years, you can start here and improve your skills,” said Group Fitness Program Manager Marianne Grossman.
Aqua classes are offered every morning, with a variety of options depending on your goals. The smaller pool is where members can loosen their muscles and joints with a restorative workout that is a great option for many participants. The warm water, which is kept at approximately 90 degrees, help improve range of motion in all joints.
