Aside from how well they played, perhaps the best part of competing in the USTA League National Championships for a team representing Los Cab was the camaraderie. A group of eight players from Los Cab and other local clubs was captained by member Tracy Harris and finished second in the adult 18 and over 5.0+ women’s division after falling in the championship match to a younger squad from Texas.
The group enjoyed traveling to the USTA’s National Campus in Orlando to compete in the October 5-7 tournament – and had just as much fun off the court as on it.
