Thanks to a fast pace of play and smaller courts that are easier to cover, the sport of pickleball has gained a dedicated fan base across the country. The craze has taken hold at Los Cab Sports Village as the club held its debut Pickleball Social on October 12.
Organized by tennis member Marji Achzenick, the outing attracted approximately 25 players who enjoyed a fun and competitive event played in a King and Queen of the Hill format. Sandwiches and snacks were served and there were raffle drawings for prizes that included Los Cab-logoed hats and backpacks.
