REGISTRATION & WITHDRAWALS 1.1 Withdrawal Deadlines 14+ days prior to event: Full refund minus processing/administrative fees 7–13 days prior: 50% refund <7 days prior: No refund All withdrawals must be submitted by email in writing. registration@playapbf.com 1.2 Non-Refundable Fees Payment processing fees are non-refundable under all circumstances 1.3 Waitlist Players who remain on the waitlist will receive a full refund \n2. EVENT CANCELLATION (ORGANIZER) 2.1 Full Cancellation If APBF cancels an event due to: Low registration Facility issues Operational constraints ➡️ Players will receive: Full refund or Event credit (player choice\, where feasible) 2.2 Event Modifications APBF reserves the right to: Adjust format Combine divisions Modify scoring or scheduling These changes do not qualify for refunds \n3. WEATHER & FORCE MAJEURE 3.1 Before Play Begins If an event is canceled before any matches are played: Players will receive event credit 3.2 After Play Begins No refunds or credits will be issued once play has started 3.3 Partial Completion If a reasonable portion of matches have been completed\, the event will be considered official 3.4 Force Majeure No refunds for: Weather Natural disasters Government restrictions Other circumstances beyond APBF control \n4. SUMMARY:USTA - Max Advantage Tennis Tournament
DESCRIPTION:NO REFUNDS/CREDITS AFTER ENTRIES CLOSE.Please DO NOT ask for a refund or for a credit if you need to withdraw from the tournament after entries have closed. There are many fees and up front costs (sanction fee\, USTA fee\, courts\, balls\, refs\, staff\, etc) that are associated with organizing and running a tennis tournament. Those expenses are all based on how many participants enter a tournament and we do have to pay them regardless of play. Also\, keep in mind that when a player signs up\, that player takes away a spot that could have been used by another player who is ready to play. For all these reasons and many more\, there are no refunds or credits once registrations close. \nWe are using multiple locations. We also have backdraw for all round of 16 match losers.   Some divisions play the backdraw on Saturday.  Please check all draws for exact location and time of matches. \nIVC = Irvine Valley College \nPHS = Portola High School \n  \nPlease check times and locations carefully.  Format for main draw willl be 2 sets to 6\, tiebreak at 6-6\, and if split sets a 10-point breaker will be played.  We will play NO AD scoring. Backdraw will be an 8 game pro set with no ad. \nLocations: \nWe will be using Dunlop Grand Prix balls \nIVC= Irvine Valley College – MAIN SITE (IVC on draw) \n  \nsee above \nFormat will be 2 sets to 6\, with a 10-point tie breaker if split sets.  Backdwaw for first round losers will be an 8 game pro set. There will be multiple locations used\, based on # of entries. Times will not be determined until AFTER entries close.  Please do not ask what time matches start before the entries close.  Winner and finalist of each division will receive a trophy\, hat and shirt.  No refunds or credits after deadline closes.
